What is Zoofy?
Through Zoofy we help you quickly find the right tradesman for your job. You indicate what needs to be done and when you want to be helped. We ensure that you are connected to a professional in your area.
How does Zoofy work?
On our site you select or search for the job you would like done. Enter your postcode and indicate the timeframe in which you want to be helped. Describe what needs to be done and press send. After you have confirmed your request via email, we will do the rest.
Who are the Zoofy tradesmen?
Our tradesmen are all professionals. They are self-employed handymen who are registered at the Chamber of Commerce. That is a requirement of their registration with us. The tradesmen are not employed by us, but are part of our network. We know from every expert what his qualities are and for which job we can use them. This way we can guarantee the quality and we can connect the right craftsman to your job.
You did not find a professional for my job, now what?
We use a network of professionals from all over the Netherlands. We always do our utmost to find a professional for you. But in the event of high demand or in some less inhabited parts of the Netherlands, it sometimes happens that unfortunately we can not find someone fast enough. We will then contact you to explain that.
Why do you charge a minimum of 1 hour?
Our professionals do not want you to wait until you have a big problem to fix before they come to your home. They also want you to call them for the smaller jobs. To ensure that the professional can do this, we charge a minimum of 1 hour of their time. Because we do not charge any call-out charges, you will often find that it is still cheaper with the hourly rate. Even if the professional has finished the fix within the hour.
How can I contact you?
You can request your job online 24 hours a day. Do you have a question? Send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. We are open from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 9 pm. On Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm.
What is the relationship between Zoofy and Stichting Amsterdam Mamas?
In 2019 Stichting Amsterdam Mamas and Zoofy entered an agreement to help the Amsterdam Mamas Community connect with professional tradesmen. Zoofy have provided a dedicated portal for Amsterdam Mamas to search and select professionals for their home help jobs. Amsterdam Mamas receives a small percentage of each job booked through their dedicated portal. Amsterdam Mamas does not have any contact with the professionals on the site and is not responsible for any problems which might arise. All customer support is handled by Zoofy and in the unlikely event of a problem with the work, it must be resolved with Zoofy and the professional following the instructions in the DIY section of these FAQs.
How fast do you come when I have a rush job?
You can always request urgent jobs. We aim to take care of your job and make sure that the craftsman will visit you the same day. You will receive the appointment confirmation by e-mail within 20 minutes. The professional shifts his agenda to help you as quickly as possible. That is why we charge a little more than normal for rush jobs. We show the rates when planning so you are never surprised with additional charges.
Can I cancel an appointment?
Did something happen and do you need to cancel the appointment? You can cancel an application or job via the email confirmation. You can cancel the appointment up to 24 hours before the appointment. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the appointment, or after a rush job has been accepted by a professional, you will pay a small fee. This can be up to € 15 euros. This also applies if you are not at home at the agreed time.
Can I discuss my job before the start?
Absolutely, yes. As soon as your job has been picked up, you will receive the details of the professional who is coming to help. You can then call him to discuss everything. We always urge the professional to make contact in advance.
How can I report a problem?
The professional is responsible for the proper completion of the job. If you are not satisfied with the final result, you must communicate this directly to the professional or notify us within 72 hours of receipt of the invoice by e-mail. Our qualified professionals can still solve the problem directly for you in most cases. In some cases we send another expert to solve the problem. Read more about this in our conditions.
How can I pay?
In the e-mail with the account is a link to iDeal with which you can pay the bill. You can also pay via Tikkie or you can transfer the amount with the payment details that you will find in the e-mail. It is not possible to pay directly to the professional. If this happens, we can unfortunately not help you if something goes wrong.
When will I receive an invoice?
You will receive the invoice after the job is completed the job. When the professional is ready they will indicate how long they were working and whether they had to supply materials. After this, an invoice will be generated which you will then receive by email.
Why do I pay a service fee?
With Zoofy we offer you a network of professionals throughout the Netherlands. We try to connect you as soon as possible with the right professional. A whole system has been built for this. And there is a call, text messages sent. The service charge covers all of this.
Do I have to pay call-out costs?
No, we do not charge any call-out costs. That is not necessary. We work with a network of professionals from all over the Netherlands. As a result, we almost always find a professional in your area. That way they never have to drive very far.
